What is Networking?
Connection of two or more than two computing devices for sharing resources among them.
We can say two or more than two computers are interconnected if they are able to share or exchange resources or information via varoius connection and sources.
Internet is simply the collection of various networks and also called as network of netwoks.
Advantages and Disadvantages:
i. fast and reliable
ii. time and cost saving.
iii. Resource sharing
iv. risk of hacking
v. risk of spreading of virus and malware
vi. purchasing of network equipments and infrastructures can be expensive and so on..
Essential Components for Networking:
- Networking Media (switch, hub, routers etc.)
- Two or more computing devices (Computers, Servers etc.)
- Transmission media ( cable, RJ45, Connectors etc.)
- Protocol (TCP/Ip, etc.)
